needs of the men and women who came to the aid of our nation when
they were called upon. Veterans are a valuable resource to the
entire labor movement.

Our Women's Committee
works to further the gains of women in the workplace as well as
society. This committee informs and educates to broaden the scope of
traditional women's roles. The sisters and brothers on our Women's
Committee encourage women to become active in local, national and
community causes and programs.

Your Local Union
Chaplaincy Committee has been organized to represent people of all
faiths. It is operated by volunteers to serve the Brothers and
Sisters of UAW Local 1216.

goal of the Worker 2 Worker program is to encourage all members to
take an active part in union affairs and in the wider local, state,
and national political and legislative process. We will also strive

participant.
