Happy Thanksgiving

Sisters and Brothers,

I would like to personally wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Even when we are in these tough times and nothing seems to be going our way it is easy to see the good if you look for it. We are all employed and haven't lost jobs (we are gaining) as some of our fellows have within the community, we have stood our ground at the negotiations table and in the plant, our team is educated and is filing all appropriate charges (I turn in the remainder of my affidavits tomorrow or Monday for ULP charges), we are getting paid for the holidays and expect a productivity bonus check on the first Friday in December (payroll shared they're already working on it), we are POWERFUL when we stick together, and the list can go on and on. I also would like to say that there is a bit of good in the worst situation/statements and a bit of bad in the best situation/statements and it is solely up to us what we choose to engage in. Lastly, if nobody told you they're thankful for you today know that I am thankful to all my Sisters and Brothers in my UAW family and there is nothing you can do about it.
